Specialized has been pushing the envelope on electric-assist bicycle development. Creo is a line-up of cutting-edge E-Road-Bikes in both carbon and aluminum frames. The E5 SL is their most affordable option. This one is just over 31lbs. It has a range of over 100km, and over 150km with an optional bottle-style piggy-back battery. Motor assistance tops out at 32km/h. The motor is incredibly smooth, powerful, and quiet, and disengages when you’re over top speed. It feels and handles just like a high-performance bike should. It’s very natural, just faster. We are very excited about these bikes. They will make road riding better for many people. The E5 SL comes with Shimano GRX components, DT Swiss wheels, Specialized Futureshock 2.0 suspension, 28mm tires, and an endurance geometry for long, comfortable rides. It’s a revolutionary, amazing bicycle!
